MOSCOW, January 31 Presidential candidate and current head of state Vladimir Putin agreed to extend the preferential rate for socially oriented NGOs .
«As for the preferential rate (for socially oriented NPOs — ed.), 7.6% is already not bad, it should be extended, I agree,» Putin said at a meeting with proxies.
The Federation Council appointed presidential elections on March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. At the moment, seven people are vying for the post of head of state. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has registered four presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin. The Central Election Commission must make a decision on registration or refusal of registration for all candidates no later than February 10.
