The Central Election Commission identified shortcomings in Batashev’s documents for nomination for elections

MOSCOW, February 2 The Russian Central Election Commission notified the blogger -ecologist Anatoly Batashev about the identified shortcomings in the documents he submitted for nomination for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation.
“Send a notice to the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Gennadievich Batashev, about identified shortcomings in the documents submitted by the candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Gennadievich Batashev,” the CEC resolution says.

Among the shortcomings at the CEC meeting were the lack of a document confirming the fact of payment for the production of signature sheets, a protocol on the results of collecting voter signatures on paper and in machine-readable form, a list of persons who collected voter signatures, on paper and in machine readable form.

The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. The Central Election Commission must make a decision on registration or refusal of registration for all candidates no later than February 10.
