“It is important that all events are held at the highest level, so that people have fun, so that fans from different countries can follow the competition,” he said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
Mishustin wished the Russian athletes a fair fight and victories.
“Games of the Future” are innovative international competitions in hybrid disciplines, in the phygital concept (physical+digital), which combines classical sports and e-sports or VR/AR technology. The first ever “Games of the Future” will be held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3. The sports program includes competitions in 21 disciplines (divided into five categories, or «challenges»: sport, tactics, strategy, technology and speed). More than 2 thousand athletes from different countries are expected to participate.
