MOSCOW, March 3 Ethiopia plans to establish direct exports of goods to Russia using cargo air services, the country's ambassador to Russia, Cham Ugala Uryat, said in an interview .

According to the diplomat, Ethiopian Airlines has already agreed, so there are conditions for this.
Increasing supplies of products from Ethiopia will also depend on demand and volume, the ambassador added.
“If it is big, then the cargo flight may be full. I know that many Russians love coffee, especially in big cities. So there is a big market here. It depends on the business representatives,” Cham Ugala Uryat pointed out.
He also added that Ethiopia does not plan to reduce the volume of coffee exports to Russia. The diplomat called such reports that appeared last year a lie.
At the same time, he noted that the possibility of discounts on coffee should be determined by market mechanisms.
In addition, Cham Ugala Uryat stated that Ethiopia, in turn, needs Russian technologies for the development of agriculture.

A representative of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry previously stated that the republic is ready to significantly increase supplies of flowers, coffee and other agricultural products to Russia, for which the country's producers and Russian importers need to start a serious dialogue.
