According to information from the organizers of the event, which they shared with the agency, about 6 thousand people gathered in the amphitheater on the Central Embankment of the city.
«Each generation has its own choice, its own Stalingrad. We, the descendants of the victors, have made a choice. Already the descendants are fighting shoulder to shoulder with modern fascists… Defending our Motherland… our choice. Our choice is strong, independent Russia, family, traditional values,” said Andrei Bocharov, Governor of the Volgograd Region, at the opening of the rally-concert.
The chairman of the party, Dmitry Medvedev, also came to the United Russia rally-concert in Volgograd.
