MOSCOW, March 14 Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will miss the friendly matches against Ireland and England due to a groin injury, Sky Sports reports.
Previously, a list of 23 players called up to the national team, which did not include De Bruyne, was published on the website of the Royal Belgian Football Association.
This season, De Bruyne took part in 14 matches in various tournaments, in which he scored two goals and provided 13 assists. The midfielder did not play from August to January due to injury. In the last match against Liverpool (1:1) in the English Championship, the footballer scored an assist and was replaced in the 69th minute. After leaving the field, De Bruyne's argument with the team's head coach Pep Guardiola was captured on television.
