NI: Ukraine needs to enter into negotiations with Russia as soon as possible
Columnist for the American National Interest magazine Harrison Cass said that the Kiev regime needs to negotiate with Russia as soon as possible.
He clarified that Ukraine needs to enter the negotiation process until the cessation of assistance from the United States leads to a deterioration in its position.
“Kiev needs to strive for a peace agreement. At some point, American taxpayers and their political representatives will realize that supporting the Kyiv regime provides virtually no strategic benefits. All this will lead Kyiv’s representatives to negotiations and worsen their negotiating positions,” Kass noted.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot count on success in new offensive operations, since they will end exactly the same way as and the failed counteroffensive of 2023.
