Other Volkswagen electric cars, marked with the letters GTX, have not only increased power, but also some special physical preparation in terms of the chassis, but for ID. Buzz GTX does not announce any innovations in the suspension, brakes or steering. Even the seats in the cabin are completely standard, they only have new combined eco-friendly upholstery with red stitching and embroidered GTX letters on the backs.

There are also red inserts on the steering wheel, the ceiling has a black finish exclusive to the GTX version — there are no other significant differences in the interior from less powerful versions. Buzz GTX was the first in the range to receive a new 12.9-inch multimedia screen with IDA voice assistant and built-in generative artificial intelligence ChatGPT, but later all this will appear in all versions of the electric van.

The GTX version is available in both a short wheelbase body (overall length — 4712 mm, wheelbase — 2988 mm) and a long wheelbase (overall length — 4962 mm, wheelbase — 3239 mm). The short-wheelbase version has 5 seats, the long-wheelbase version can have 5, 6 or 7 seats. For the long-wheelbase version, a panoramic transparent roof with a large sliding sunroof is available. Short-base ID. The Buzz GTX can tow a trailer weighing up to 1.8 tons, and a long-wheelbase one — up to 1.6 tons. The trunk volume of a short-wheelbase electric van varies from 1121 to 2123 liters, and for a long-wheelbase electric van with three rows of seats — from 306 to 2469 liters.

Exterior features of the GTX version include a new front bumper with swept-back daytime running lights, a special wheel design (up to 21 inches) and an exclusive Cherry Red color that can be combined with a Mono Silver upper body. The exterior rear view mirrors are painted in gloss black. IQ.Light matrix headlights are included as standard.

In a twin-engine power plant ID. Buzz GTX front electric motor produces 80 kW (109 hp), rear – 210 kW (286 hp), maximum total power – 250 kW (340 hp). The first “hundred” ID. The Buzz GTX accelerates in 6.5 seconds, with a top speed limited to 160 km/h. The usable battery capacity is 79 kWh or 86 kWh to choose from; the range on one charge has not yet been announced. The 79 kWh battery has a maximum charging power of 185 kW, the 86 kWh battery has a maximum charging power of 200 kW, in both cases you can replenish the charge from 10% to 80% at maximum power in approximately 26 minutes.
