The Basmanny District Court of Moscow named the new defendant in the case of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. This is Nazrimad Lutfulloi. The court has received a petition for his arrest, Mediazona was told in court.
Like all defendants in the terrorist attack case, Lutfulloi is accused of committing a terrorist attack resulting in death (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 205 UK). Investigators did not publicly disclose the nature of the charges against him.
Yesterday, Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin reported on the man’s arrest. According to his version, he “participated in a terrorist financing scheme.” It is unknown whether Lutfulloi was mentioned.
The SHOT telegram channel associated with the National Media Group claims that the offices of several crypto exchanges in Moscow City are being searched as part of the investigation into the terrorist attack. The channel posted a video of broken glass in one of the offices. The post says that this is the office of the Beribit exchanger. Representatives of Beribit claim that the search at their office is not related to the terrorist attack case.
