«In the Skopinsky district, a native of the Republic of Tajikistan, convicted of evading military service, was deprived of the citizenship of the Russian Federation,» the SUSC reported.
It is clarified that the court found a native of Tajikistan born in 2001, who acquired Russian citizenship on May 6, 2022, guilty of evading military service. It was established that the convict did not appear without good reason when summoned to the military commissariat for events related to conscription. The court imposed a fine. The verdict came into force.
«The relevant information and a copy of the court verdict were sent by the investigative body to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Ryazan region. The citizenship of the Russian Federation of the convicted person was terminated on the basis provided for in paragraph «a» of paragraph 2 of Part 2. 1 Article 22 of the Federal Law of April 28, 2023 No. 138-FZ “On Citizenship of the Russian Federation” (communication of knowingly false information regarding the obligation to comply with the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the legislation of the Russian Federation, resulting in the commission of a crime),” explains SUSC.
It is emphasized that on Wednesday the convict’s passport of the Russian Federation was confiscated, and in the near future he will be expelled from the state.
