According to Putin, the goal of those who ordered the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall was “to damage the unity of Russian multinational society.” He called this unity “the basic condition” for the country’s success.
“Russia cannot be the target of terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists. We have a country that demonstrates a unique example of interfaith harmony and unity,” Putin asserts.
In his speech, Putin spoke about the information “provided by the investigation.” He did not say who exactly, in his opinion, might be the mastermind behind the attack on Crocus.
