MOSCOW, April 13 Roscosmos published in its Telegram channel photographs taken by satellite of the consequences of the flood in the Orenburg region, they show how water leaves Orsk.
“Roscosmos continues to monitor the situation in the Orenburg region,” says the caption to the photographs.
The image taken by the Kanopus-V satellite on April 11 shows that water is leaving Orsk. For comparison, Roscosmos showed a photograph taken over the city on April 5.
The dam in Orsk broke on April 5th. The area of the Old City received the first blow of the disaster; residents were evacuated. The city authorities were able to fill the dam only on April 11.
