Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of Roscosmos Yuri Koptev, who headed the Russian Space Agency and the Russian Aviation and Space Agency in 1992-2004 , awarded the Order of Gagarin, the corresponding decree of the President of the Russian Federation was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

The same By decree, the Order of Gagarin was awarded to the Advisor to the General Director for Science of the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities (TsENKI, Russian Cosmodromes) Igor Barmin (previously managed the enterprise), as well as the Advisor to the General Director of Roscosmos Vladimir Rachuk.
