Pamfilova spoke about the share of young Russians among all voters

MOSCOW, May 23. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation analyzed numerous election campaigns over the past years and learned that about a quarter of all voters in Russia are young people from 18 to 35 years old, said CEC Chairman Ella Pamfilova.
«Analyzing the results of numerous election campaigns of various levels that we have conducted over the past years, we noticed that about a quarter of those who take part in voting are young voters aged 18 to 35 years,» reports press service of Pamfilova's words at a meeting with members of the Youth Election Commission of the Lipetsk Region.

Moreover, the chairman of the Central Election Commission noted that young people in the composition of election commissions make up about 22-25%, and the same 22-25% of the total number of candidates participating in the elections are young people.

“This is such a coincidence or a certain trend,” she stated.
The message says that at the meeting, young election organizers were introduced to the information resources and digital services of the Russian Central Election Commission, and their questions were also answered. Thus, Pamfilova and CEC member Konstantin Mazurevsky told the guests about the Russian electoral system, the development of the Mobile Voter mechanism, and the possibilities of remote electronic voting.
