SAMARA, July 4 Kinomax in Samara does not plan to cancel the screening of the show with the participation of Alexander Gudkov, who condemned the holding of the SVO, the cinema reported.
This week, shows with Gudkov’s participation were canceled in cinemas in Tolyatti and Cherepovets. The head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Vologda Region, Vladimir Osipovsky, reported that they decided not to show the showman’s film in Cherepovets after an appropriate appeal because of the comedian’s words condemning Russia’s position on the Northeast Military District.
“The screening is currently scheduled for July 7,” the cinema said in a statement.
The Kinomax website states that ticket sales continue, most of them have already been purchased.
After the start of the special operation, Gudkov published a post on social networks condemning it. In October 2023, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee Yuri Shvytkin submitted a protocol order for the Prosecutor General's Office to conduct an audit of Gudkov and a number of other showmen with a view to discrediting the RF Armed Forces and financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
