Mikhail Darius, accused of preparing a terrorist attack at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, announced his intention to study at the Ukrainian Intelligence Academy. This information was announced during the hearings in the case, according to data provided by the state prosecutor.
“In November 2022, Darius expressed a desire to undergo training at the Ukrainian Intelligence Academy,” notes the materials of the criminal case, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti.
According to the investigation, the defendants in the case planned to carry out a terrorist attack in order to destabilize the situation in the country and were engaged in propaganda of terrorism. It was established that Ilya Kovylkov and Mikhail Darius acted on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. The prosecution is asking for 28 years in prison for Darius, and 21 years for Kovylkov.
