Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi published a photograph on a social network, presumably taken in a certain headquarters. In the photo, he is standing next to a map, on which another serviceman is pointing something out to him.
Syrsky signed the photo as «continuing the operation.»
Ukrainian media write that, in their opinion, this is about attacks on the Kursk region.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that Russian units had thwarted attempts by Ukrainian armored vehicles to break through «deep into Russian territory» in the area of the Kursk settlements of Tolpino, Zhuravli, Obshchy Kolodez, and in the Belovsky district.
