MOSCOW, Jan 10 An Australian court ruled that the world's No. 1 Novak Djokovic may temporarily leave the immigration hotel and visit a location designated by his attorney in order to be able to observe his trial in court, Associated Press Australia journalist Karen Sweeney said on Twitter. The athlete can only leave the place of stay if accompanied by representatives of the Australian Border Guard. Djokovic has arrived in Australia to compete in the Australian Open, which kicks off January 17 in Melbourne. The unvaccinated Serb was unable to pass passport control upon arrival in the country and is currently in immigration detention. He appealed the decision of the border guards to the Federal District Court. On Thursday, Australian authorities said they did not plan to deport Djokovic until the next court hearing on Monday.
