The meeting, held in San Francisco, ended with a score of 96:82 in favor of the hosts. The highest scoring player of the match was Golden State defender Stephen Curry with 28 points. The hosts' point guard Clay Thompson made his first leg after missing two and a half seasons due to injury (in the 2019 final against Toronto he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture; in 2020, after recovering from this injury, he tore an Achilles in training).
