Listen to your health.
Cancer symptoms are often vague and they are difficult to define. This, in turn, makes it difficult to diagnose the disease. According to British researchers, waking up in the morning may be the most disturbing symptom, Chronicle.info reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to Cancer Research UK, a British charity for cancer research, fatigue is often the most worrisome symptom of cancer.
Other signs of fatigue include:
- Lack of energy & # 8212; you may just want to stay in bed all day.
- Feeling like you just have nothing to do.
- Sleep problems such as being unable to fall asleep or disturbed sleep.
- Feeling anxious, sad or depressed.
- Muscle pain & # 8212; you may find it difficult to climb stairs or walk short distances.
- Shortness of breath after doing small tasks such as showering or making the bed.
- Difficulty concentrating even while watching TV or talking to a good friend.
- Difficulty thinking clearly or making decisions easily.
- Loss of interest in what you usually enjoy.
- Negative attitude towards yourself and others.
Other common symptoms of cancer include the sudden appearance of a lump on the body, unexplained bleeding, and changes in bowel habits.
That being said, experts note that in many cases your symptoms will not be associated with cancer and will be caused by other health problems.
