In 2022, tax authorities are going to carefully monitor income received from independent professional activities and unofficial work. It will also check income sent from abroad, received from the rental of property, investments, the sale of livestock products (in the amount of 50 minimum wages), charitable or non-targeted assistance, from the sale of real estate, as well as gifts.

Official revenues will be compared with expenses. You will have to pay tax for the undeclared difference.

Tax will not be levied on savings up to UAH 400 thousand; residential real estate, the area of ​​which does not exceed 120 sq. m., and if there is only one car in the family.

The tax office will now check not only income, but also expenses of citizens. When a person has expenses that do not correspond to the level of income and assets, then he is automatically subject to verification. The mechanism of how self-employed people who have never been registered as self-employed and have not declared their income until announced should justify their income.
