MiG-31 aircraft during training flightsMOSCOW, Jan 29 In the Novgorod region the MiG-31 aircraft rolled out of the runway, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the Ministry of Defense. This happened during takeoff, the cause was a technical malfunction. The MiG-31 was supposed to make a planned flight, the department clarified. «The crew was not injured. There are no casualties or damage on the ground,» the release says. A VKS commission is working on the spot. The fighter will be returned to service as soon as possible after a technical examination.
