The physician also noted that the symptoms of malaise can persist even after recovery, so the body should be given time to «come to its senses.» The Omicron strain, or B.1.1.529, was found in Botswana and South Africa last November. According to experts, those who have been ill and vaccinated can become infected with it. The new variant has already been identified in more than 110 countries, including Russia.
