On December 13, 2021, at about eight in the morning, a bomb exploded at the entrance to the gymnasium at the Vvedychny Vvedensky Convent. As clarified in the Moscow Region Department of the Investigative Committee, this was done by a graduate of the Struzhenkov gymnasium.
The explosion injured 10 children who were at morning prayers. Doctors recorded burns, abrasions and closed craniocerebral injuries in them. Struzhenkov himself also received multiple injuries, after which the doctors amputated his leg.
As Interfax wrote, citing an «informed source», the reason for this act was Struzhenkov's hatred for school teachers and nuns due to bullying during the school years.
