Roskomnadzor demanded that the Estonian National Television and Radio Broadcasting (ERR) remove the news from their Russian service about Russia's attack on Ukraine, the editors reported.
“Roskomnadzor demanded to remove this article within 24 hours, informing the Russian department about it, after whereby access to the ERR news portal in Russia can be resumed. ERR has no intention of deleting this article,” they replied.
This is war. Invasion of Ukraine
In the news «Foreign Minister of Ukraine: Russia has started a full-scale war», ERR cited only Ukrainian Minister Dmytro Kuleba and President Volodymyr Zelensky about the «full-scale invasion of Ukraine» and Russia's «military aggression».< /p>
On February 24, Roskomnadzor, under the threat of blocking, demanded that journalists write about the war with Ukraine only from “official Russian sources”. Data from alternative sources, according to Roskomnadzor, will be considered «the dissemination of deliberately false information.»
Only one editorial office in Russia, the Krasnoyarsk publication Prospekt Mira, reported receiving claims from Roskomnadzor. They deleted their news.
