The war between Russia and Ukraine continues for the eighth day.
The plenary session took place today meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. People's deputies adopted a number of laws and one resolution, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Refugee Affairs, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the European Parliament, international organizations and assemblies, parliaments and governments of foreign states regarding the urgent need to ensure the protection of the civilian population of Ukraine from the military aggression of the occupier.
What laws were adopted:
- Law «On general mobilization»;
- law «On the use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations»;
- law on amendments to ensure the liability of persons involved in collaborationist activities;
- law on amendments regarding the criminal liability for collaborationist activities;
- the law on amendments regarding the prohibition of the distribution and production of propaganda information products;
- law on amendments regarding additional regulation of ensuring the activities of law enforcement agencies under martial law;
- law «On amendments to the Law of Ukraine«On the judiciary and the status of judges» regarding the change in the jurisdiction of the courts»;
- the law«On amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the strengthening of responsibility for crimes against the foundations of the national security of Ukraine in the conditions of the martial law regime»;
- Law «On ensuring the participation of civilians in the defense of Ukraine»;
- Law on protecting the interests of subjects when submitting reports or other documents during martial law or a state of war;
- the law on the basic principles for the forcible seizure of property of the Russian Federation and residents of the aggressor country on the territory of Ukraine;
- the law on amendments regarding increased liability for looting;
- the law on amendments regarding the specifics of taxation and reporting under martial law.
