The United States expands the sanctions package.
The United States of America on Friday, On March 11, they expanded sanctions against Russia because of the war in Ukraine, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Today.
In particular, America banned the Russian Federation from importing alcohol and seafood. In addition, the White House announced full blocking sanctions against the heads of Russian banks and members of the State Duma.
The full list of additional US sanctions against the Russian Federation is as follows:
- ban on the import of alcohol, diamonds and seafood;
- a ban on the supply of jewelry to the territory of the aggressor;
- The states, the EU and the G7 plan to cancel the trade facilitation regime with Russia;
- G7 countries will to prevent loans from the aggressor from the World Bank, the IMF.
Oil and gas embargo
Russia is forced to abandon further war in Ukraine with the most severe sanctions that destroy the Russian economy. So, on March 8, the United States of America banned the import of oil, gas and any other energy carriers from Russia.
