Britain has announced a new package of military assistance to our country against the backdrop of resistance to Russian aggression. Ukraine will receive even more of the weapons it needs to repulse the invaders sterling ($130 million).
As the press service of the British Embassy in Moscow notes, we are talking about:
- more than 800 NLAW anti-tank guided missiles;
- additional Javelin anti-tank systems;
- additional Starstreak MANPADS;
- additional assistance in the form of helmets, body armor and night vision devices.
«We will also ship more helmets, night vision goggles and body armor in addition to the 200,000 non-lethal military equipment the UK has already shipped», — Johnson said.
We add that during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in London, the parties also raised issues regarding cooperation in the field of energy security and renewable energy sources, so that Europe would eventually get rid of dependence on occupying energy carriers.
