On April 18, the club will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Earlier, Spartak on its official website announced the cancellation of a number of events for the club's anniversary, which could not be implemented «subject to restrictions», as well as «due to a difficult financial situation or for ethical reasons.» Also among the canceled events for the club's anniversary included an international friendly tournament, landscaping of the Otkritie Bank Arena territory, the launch of retro uniforms and uniforms for the anniversary season, their integration into a football simulator, the release of fan tokens and an NFT collection, a mass rally with some active fans, which could be included in The Guinness Book of Records, as well as filming a documentary series about «Spartacus» and its release on the international streaming service.
