< p>The leaders of the European Union are considering the option of abolishing all duties and quotas on Ukrainian exports in order to help the Ukrainian economy during the war against the Russian Federation, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
Already on this week, the EU may abolish all duties and quotas on the import of goods from Ukraine. With this move, the association seeks to support the Ukrainian economy.
The proposal will include the abolition of existing duties and quotas on steel, manufactured goods and agricultural products, which are not yet covered by the Ukraine-EU trade agreement. The free trade zone between the parties temporarily retained duties and quotas for certain categories of goods. Now the European Union is going to temporarily cancel them.
Innovations must be approved by representatives of all 27 member countries of the association and the European Parliament. The EU is Ukraine's largest trading partner, accounting for over 40% of trade.
