MOSCOW, April 27 Arina Surkova won the 50m butterfly at Russian swimming championship in Kazan, setting a new country record. Surkova's result was 25.61 seconds, which is 0.01 seconds better than the previous Russian record. The second place was taken by Sofia Spodarenko (26.08). Daria Klepikova came third (26.18). Kliment Kolesnikov showed the best result in the 50m backstroke (23.93), ahead of Mark Nikolaev (24.70) and Pavel Samusenko (24.85). Yevgeny Rylov finished fourth (25.11). Nika Godun took the lead in the women's 100m breaststroke. She covered the distance in 1 minute 06.66 seconds. Evgenia Chikunova (1.07.10) won silver, Tatyana Belonogoff (1.07.23) won bronze. The Russian swimming championship in Kazan will last until April 29.
