MOSCOW, Apr 28 Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin will not take part in the away match of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the New York Islanders, journalist Samantha Pell reports on her Twitter. Previously, Ovechkin missed the home game against the Islanders. On Thursday, the Russian took to the ice before the morning roll-out, but Conor Sheary took his place in the first link in training. Ovechkin suffered an upper body injury in a match against the Toronto Maple Leafs on April 25. He was listed as injured as the one who will return to the squad any day. The match between Washington and the Islanders will be held in New York and will begin at 2:00 Moscow time. This season, the 36-year-old Russian took part in 77 matches in which he scored 90 points (50 goals and 40 assists).
