Archival photoMOSCOW, June 5Vladimir Zelensky instructed the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers to consider the issue of banning the use of pyrotechnics, in particular fireworks, the Ukrainian News agency reported, citing Zelensky's response to the relevant petition. «I support concerns about the increase in dangerous consequences in connection with the use of a variety of pyrotechnic products in everyday life and I believe that their consumption during martial law should be clearly regulated at the legislative level, since at present the production, storage, transportation, trade of pyrotechnic products are not subject to licensing, and their sale and the use of the current legislation is not defined,» Zelensky said, quoted by the agency. According to him, «an electronic petition was sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to consider it in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.» Martial law was introduced in Ukraine February 24.
