"We have suspended participation in the strategic stability dialogue and now we are not planning a new session,» said an employee of the American diplomatic department.
As Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov emphasized earlier, on February 25, at the initiative of Washington, the strategic dialogue was frozen for an indefinite period. According to the diplomat, the American side informed Moscow that arms control is not a priority for the administration of President Joe Biden in the context of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
