The championship was organized by the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and was held at the Mytishchi Arena from June 22 to 30. Teams played three periods of eight minutes each, playing on a court measuring 28 by 20 meters. The prize fund amounted to 4.5 million rubles. 3 million went to the winner, 1 million to the silver medalist, and 500 thousand rubles to the bronze medalist. In the final match, Phoenix beat Orion in a shootout with a score of 6:5. The winners included hockey players from the KHL clubs Alexander Nikishin, Nikolai Goldobin, Sergei Tolchinsky and Vladislav Kamenev. In the match for third place, the Perseus team beat Pegasus (4:3).
