MOSCOW, July 7 Russian striker of the Minnesota National Hockey League club Kirill Kaprizov is currently in Russia with his family, Wild's general manager Bill Guerin said. The hockey player became ill at the military registration and enlistment office, after which he was hospitalized in the 1st Naval Clinical Hospital. He is currently in a military unit undergoing treatment for gastritis. «Kaprizov is now in Russia, everything is fine with him. He is with his family and friends,» Guerin said, quoted by the AP. As The Athletic reported earlier, the NHL and clubs in the league are concerned that players on holiday in Russia may be prevented from returning to their teams in time for the start of the new season. Many clubs allegedly offered the Russians to conduct pre-season training outside of Russia, and an agent representing the interests of a number of Russian players suggested that their clients not return home. Kaprizov played 81 games in the NHL regular season last season and scored 108 points (47 goals and transfer), shattering Minnesota's regular season records for goals and points. In the playoffs, the 25-year-old Russian played six games, scoring 8 points (7+1).
