The government allowed the regions as «special economic measure» to purchase equipment for the military at the expense of their budget. The corresponding resolution is published on the official portal of legal information.
According to the document, regional authorities and budgetary institutions, at the request of the Ministry of Defense, will be able to purchase drones, radio communications, night vision devices, binoculars and sights, detection devices for laser and optical guidance systems, transport, uniforms, camping equipment, medicines, personal hygiene products, food and building materials. .
After the «partial» mobilization announced on September 21 in the regions, local residents began to collect things for those called up for war with Ukraine. For example, batteries, hats, warm socks, compasses, medicines, wet wipes and “doshiraks” for the mobilized were collected in the Karelian Khijdenselga.
In the Amur village of Berezovka, residents instead of insoles bought women's pads for the military, and in Udmurtia, the mobilized were asked to bring food, socks, shorts, slippers, first-aid kits, dishes and sleeping bags with them.
