MOSCOW, Oct 15 At matches of professional and amateur football tournaments in Turkey, which will be held from October 15 to 17, a minute of silence will be announced in memory of the victims of the explosion at a coal mine in the north of the country, according to the official website of the Turkish Football Federation. The explosion occurred on Friday evening at a mine in the province of Bartın. The death toll in the explosion has reached 40, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said. “It is with deep sadness that we learned of the victims of the explosion. At all professional and amateur competitions, which will be held on October 15, 16 and 17, a minute of silence will be announced in memory of dead miners,” the statement said. In the Turkish championship, matches of the 10th round will be held from October 15 to 17. “Adana Demirspor”, which is played by Russian striker Artem Dzyuba, will play away with “Kasympasa” on Saturday, “Fatih Karagyumryuk”, where Russian midfielder Magomed Ozdoev plays, will host “Hatayspor” on the same day.
