MOSCOW, Nov 1 Grain deal cannot be resumed while corridor The security corridor in the Black Sea is used for terrorist attacks, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin wrote on Telegram.
«The use of the security corridor for terrorist attacks against ships of the Black Sea Fleet is unacceptable. There can be no grain deal on the same terms,» the politician stressed.
He noted that Russia gave Kyiv the opportunity to export grain, which was supposed to go to the most needy countries in Africa and Asia. But these countries got no more than four percent of the total exported volume. At the same time, most of them went to the rich states of the European Union.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, by his actions, crossed out all the agreements reached with the participation of Turkey and the UN, showing the «terrorist nature of the Kyiv regime,» Volodin concluded.
Early in the morning of October 29, Kyiv carried out a terrorist attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships that were on the outer and inner roadsteads of Sevastopol. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attack was prepared and carried out by servicemen of the Ukrainian 73rd Special Maritime Operations Center under the guidance of specialists from the UK.
After that, Moscow suspended its participation in the Istanbul grain deal to transport Ukrainian food through the humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea.
