The management company of the crematorium explained that due to sanctions, it was not possible to purchase components for the repair of a Czech-made crematory. Russian specialists, together with representatives of the Tabo CS company from the Czech Republic, are trying to repair the equipment, but it is impossible to predict the timing of the work due to economic restrictions, the crematorium representatives added.
The Voronezh crematorium has been operating for less than three years. It was built according to the design of designers Pavel Stefanov and Olga Yakovleva. After opening in 2020, the bright building with a small pond at the entrance and a marble facade received the Russian Project Architecture Award as the best public building.
