MOSCOW, Nov 15 In Ukraine due to problems with electricity, a number of passenger trains deviated from the schedule, the delay is from half an hour to 40 minutes, the Ukrainian Railways company (Ukrzaliznytsya) reports on Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, in a number of regions of Ukraine, local authorities reported a blow to energy infrastructure facilities, and in a number of regions there are problems with electricity supply. Later, the deputy head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Kirill Timoshenko, said that the situation in Ukraine after new missile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities is critical. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 85 missile strikes were carried out on the territory of Ukraine, mainly on energy facilities.
“Due to the lack of voltage in the contact network and large-scale air alert, the following flights are delayed: Kovel – Zaporozhye is delayed by approximately 30 minutes; Kharkiv – Uzhgorod is delayed by 30 minutes; Kramatorsk – Kyiv departed under a backup diesel locomotive with a delay of 40 minutes,” – reports the press service of the company in the Telegram channel.
According to the company, also because of the lack of electricity, flights Kyiv-Przemysl, Uzhgorod-Kyiv, Vienna-Kyiv, Khmelnitsky- Kyiv, Lvov-Zaporozhye, Kyiv-Rakhiv.
The Russian Armed Forces began to attack the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, the Ukrainian special services stand. The strikes are carried out on energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country, from Kharkov and Kyiv to Lvov and Ivano-Frankivsk. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced in the Ukrainian regions every day, sometimes all over the country. Volodymyr Zelensky on November 1 said that about 40% of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine was damaged, which led to massive power outages.
