MOSCOW, Dec 1 Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that three embassies of Ukraine received threatening letters «soaked in red liquid.» «We will soon come out with an official position on this topic. Let's just say: inside these envelopes there was a symbolic threat transferred to Ukraine. I can only say that all the envelopes were soaked in red liquid at the time they were received,» Kuleba said on the air of the united Ukrainian telethon.
Kuleba added that the Foreign Ministry continues to analyze the situation, and said that attacks with «satanic or voodoo symbols» will not be able to stop Ukraine.
Earlier, Kuleba said that a number of Ukrainian embassies abroad received threatening letters, but did not go into details.
Earlier, parcels with explosives were sent to the Ukrainian embassy in Madr ide, the arms company Instalaza, the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom and the Torrejon de Ardoz airbase. On Thursday, it also became known that on November 24, Spanish police intercepted an envelope, presumably with a «pyrotechnic substance», which was addressed to Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Later it became known that another, already sixth in Spain, parcel, allegedly found with explosives at the US embassy in Madrid. Specialized Tedax Explosive Disposal Teams and other police units moved to the embassy. Later, the parcel was blown up.
