MOSCOW, Dec 6 The world's first ATM that allows you to buy gold coins for money from credit or debit plastic cards, began to serve customers in the Indian city of Hyderabad, Goldsikka said on Twitter.
«We are proud to announce that we have successfully launched a «gold ATM»! We hope that thanks to this achievement, India will again become a bird with golden feathers,” the release text says.
It is noted that coins weighing from 0.5 to 100 grams can be obtained from the machine. The company clarified that the feature of the ATM is that the price of gold on its screen is updated in real time in accordance with changes in quotes for this precious metal on the London Stock Exchange.
«We plan to install the following four machines in Hyderabad, including at the airport. Then we will cover the whole country, and then the whole world,» said Ritika Mitra, vice president of Goldikka.
He added that the «gold» ATMs have an equipped camera and an audible alarm system .
Private Indian company Goldsikka plans to install three thousand such ATMs in India and enter the world market with its products.
