MOSCOW, March 11 In Prague, hundreds of demonstrators called for the lowering of the Ukrainian flag from the building of the National museum after the official end of the anti-government rally on Wenceslas Square, the Idnes online publication reported.
«The protesters demanded that the Ukrainian flag be removed from the museum building. The police detained 15 people, as a result of the clash one of the law enforcement officers was injured,» the material says .
Police cordoned off the building so as not to let the protesters inside. People on the street chanted: «We want the Czech flag.»
Saturday afternoon on Wenceslas Square in the center of Prague there was a demonstration under the slogan «Czech Republic Against Poverty». About ten thousand people took part in it. The main demand of the protesters is the resignation of the government of Prime Minister Petr Fiala, which, in their opinion, is blindly pursuing EU policy to the detriment of the interests of the republic and its citizens.
According to the police, a young man with the letter Z on his backpack was detained at the rally. In the Czech Republic and beyond its borders, this is considered a symbol of a Russian special operation, any propaganda of which threatens with criminal punishment.
