A criminal case was opened against a history teacher from the city of Kopeysk in the Chelyabinsk region after he forced a sixth grader to apologize on his knees and threatened to “piss” on a student. This is reported by 74.RU with reference to the police and the reader.
As specified in the city department of inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the teacher is suspected of failing to fulfill the duties of raising a minor by a pedagogical worker, combined with child abuse (Article 156 of the Criminal Code) . A reader gave the publication a recording on which an adult's voice is heard asking: “What should I do? Pretend you didn't hear or see anything? These words are followed by the sound of a slap. Then the crying child says: “For what?”. Then a male voice orders several times to kneel and apologize. All this time the child asks for forgiveness.
“Why are you behaving like that, green snot? I'll piss you now, understand?» — the teacher continues to humiliate the sixth grader. The child answers him in the negative. The teacher adds: “Right here, now. Do you want it?”.
According to the interlocutor of 74.RU, this happened a few days ago, and two days after the conflict, the teacher resigned of his own free will. The source claims that parents had to contact the director about the behavior of the teacher before, but the management was inactive and explained this by a lack of personnel.
The school director Irina Glazova confirmed to the publication that there was an incident, while she said that the historian not fired, but suspended. “My parents did not contact me, but a statement was written to the police, investigative actions and proceedings are underway,” Glazova said. She promised to conduct an internal review.
