TEL AVIV, Mar 27 Premier Israeli Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has indefinitely postponed his address to the nation for the second time after Israel's justice and national security ministers threatened to fire him if judicial reform was stopped, Israel's Haaretz portal reported.
Early on Monday morning, the Israeli media reported that the prime minister intends to make a video message after a night of unprecedented demonstrations amid the resignation of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who called for a suspension of judicial reform.
Thousands of protests against the reform of the country's legal system continue in Israel for the twelfth week. The proposed package of laws will curtail the powers of the Supreme Court, give the government control over the appointment of judges.
