In an interview, the People's Artist of Russia decided to expose fakes about himself and the program, and also spoke about his immediate plans. 
One wife and one salary: how Yakubovich lives
— There are many fakes around the program and you personally…
— I am ready to identify them myself and say that it is true.
First, they write about my salary. If I had received so much, I would not have worked as a leader. I am simultaneously the creative director of the directorate of creative programs of Channel One, and the artistic director, and the host of «Field of Miracles». I don't get three salaries.
The team consists of eight people and occupies two offices (not the whole floor) plus a film set.

— Technical specialists — operators, lighting, stage workers — do not belong to us: either to the Ostankino shopping center or the Red Square.
By the way, about other expenses. The tuxedo I work in is 18 years old. I also have a white suit that I wear on March 8 and New Year's Eve.
— What else is on your personal list?
— Two planes and a helicopter are attributed to me. I don't know where they are, I haven't seen them in person. I travel to Minsk, where I fly Nikolai Mochansky's Mi-2, who has his own flying club.
According to media reports, I used to have 12 houses in the Moscow region, now for some reason four, apparently, I sold part of it. In fact — one, belongs to the family.

— In 2021, there were issues related to the rights to program. How are things today?
— Pole-TV is producing the program. In addition, I would like to emphasize: for all 33 years, Channel One has never interfered, we have our own editors.
— How are the Field of Miracles script being worked out?
— There are no scripts. I see the participants five minutes before the start and I ask one question: what they do not want to talk about. Someone is not ready to touch on the topic of family, someone — work. — That’s another question, I’m more 30 years on the screen. But my duty is to create the impression that the players are absolutely their own.
— And yet «Field of Wonders» — is a show, not everything should be obvious. How many game moments are prescribed?
— The most difficult thing is to entertain people. Nothing is written in advance. But, for example, if children choose a box, I will always make sure that they pull out money, because it will be an impression for them.
Prizes are placed in a black box by a special commission — according to the estimate that is allotted for the program. The keys to the car are open on the tray — there is no way to change them.
— A lot is written about paid tickets.
— All tickets are invitations and free. We print 140 double tickets. But there are scammers who sell them. Don't believe and don't buy.
You know, it's not so much what they write that hurts, but how they do it — in a rude tone. My generation was taught that the worst thing is meanness. For me, these are anonymous letters, of which there are many on the Internet. Let everyone come and tell me to my face. Can someone do it in the same manner as on the Web?
Personal requests and departed colleagues: Yakubovich's opinion
— Do you often get asked for something personal?
— In the 1990s, there were long queues to see me at Ostankino. I gave away all the money I could. There was a case when a clergyman lived on the stairs for three days. It turned out that funds were needed to repair the church in Fryanovo near Moscow — they collected it, restored the dome. Batiushka is no longer there, but the church is standing.
They ask for medicines, for example, to help them get them. About some unresolved cases.
— Times are tough right now. Some say you can't have fun. What is your take on this?
— Humor always saves, even in the most terrible situations. Let's remember propaganda teams in the Great Patriotic War. I don't know why there are so few of them today. They made it clear that the fighters are remembered and the whole country is behind them. No wonder many artists have military orders. Iosif Kobzon, Vladimir Vinokur, Lev Leshchenko and others. They were in hot spots.
I have almost 40 business trips to Chechnya, and only twice I participated in concerts, all the rest — the delivery of humanitarian supplies, traveled to checkpoints. During the first Chechen period, he collected little notes—there wasn’t even a connection then—and in Moscow he already called each addressee and handed over these letters.
I also have combat medals for trips, although they write that I bought them. And not only about me. For example, Alexander Rosenbaum was a doctor on a submarine. He is an officer! There are all the orders of departments.
And, you know, to the question of entertainment. This year marks exactly 25 years of tradition at the «Field of Miracles», when we fulfilled three children's wishes on New Year's Eve. Today it is the presidential action «Christmas Tree of Desires».
On the transfer, we always hand flowers to the ladies. And for 20 years now, women from different parts of the country and the CIS have been writing to us that their husbands give them bouquets.
It really warms my soul and cannot but rejoice. 
— How do you feel about colleagues who left?
“I wonder why they did it. People lived here. It doesn't matter how much you earn. They were brought up in our school. If they don't care where they live, it means they weren't brought up. This is more important. We need to find the root of the problem and solve it so that this does not happen again with the next generations.
I'm not going to criticize anyone, let alone condemn. Adults have the right to choose. But in the world you can change anything, except for the Fatherland.
I am absolutely convinced that you need to stop writing about it. Left and left. But it is important to remember that nostalgia is a medical term, there is a risk of getting very sick, so you won’t be cured. Let's see what happens next.

— We sat and discussed with Eduard Boyakov for a long time, I doubted. I don't like this play, unlike Molière's others. But the director suggested changing the psychology of the hero, Harpagon.
I took three translations and wrote the script myself. Wrote six additional monologues that absolutely change the idea of my character. We will make it more human.
