MOSCOW, 7 Mar. The actor and singer Vitaly Gogunsky supported the NVO from the first days, he was repeatedly in the special operation zone with concerts. In addition, he released the song «Russia», the authors of which, like himself, are from Ukraine. In an interview, the musician spoke about the situation in Donbass, his patriotic position, his star daughter and the project in new regions.

— Why did you turn to a patriotic song?
— Meanings are important, but also when they are in good packaging: the song should be beautiful. There is a fine line between patriotism and jingoism that causes rejection. When, as in the composition «Russia», everything is done elegantly and from the heart, people feel it.
— Everyone who created this song is from Ukraine, including you. You are from Kremenchug (Poltava region). In your opinion, what is the difference between Russians and Ukrainians?
We are all from the Soviet Union. Yes, people from Ukraine, but the capital of my homeland is Moscow, no matter what anyone says. There is absolutely no mental difference between us, there are features. You know, I come to Belgorod or Voronezh and already feel in Kremenchug, because the dialect is the same. In his hometown, for example, yes — there was a separate respect for the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks, bloomers. But this is nothing more than the regional specificity of one people.
By the way, when I was in school, we all used the Ukrainian language and literature under duress.
—So you don't know Ukrainian, even though you grew up there?
—I speak with my Ukrainian mind. This is a matter of education. In general, when you study other cultures and languages, it enriches you. And I'm glad that there are no bans in Russia, including the Ukrainian language and national restaurants.
—Your father stayed in Ukraine. Were you able to build a relationship?
— No. And you know, few people there have retained an adequate perception of the Russians. They have been under the information cap for eight years, they are told that they were attacked by occupiers and marauders. But ordinary people cannot be blamed for this, one can only sympathize with them. They are tired of hatred.
Let's take it for granted, don't respond to their negativity. The situation will change and everyone will understand.
About artists and CBO: not everything is so simple
— You sang about Russia even before the SVO. Why does it happen that only under negative circumstances do we remember our homeland?
—Not without distortions in society, of course. We have a very large country with different peoples and faiths. But today the same common idea has appeared, around which they began to unite. What they sang about Russia is great. But I would also like to turn to colleagues: write something joyful. According to my experience of communicating with the participants of the NWO: they want life and a holiday. It is joyful songs, that is, light, and not vulgar. There must be culture.
By the way, for example, our song with Maria Kozhevnikova «Who, if not us» was blocked on YouTube at one time. Therefore, I am in favor of closing it in Russia. This is a pro-Western platform, it will not bring anything good. And the algorithms are built in such a way that everything moral and beautiful is prohibited.
— But there is no worthy replacement in Russia, RuTube is still not coping — and everyone admits it …
— I am sure that the situation will change. There are no problems with brains in Russia.
— Did the members of the CBO ask you for something special?
— No. They are modest in their desires. The more powerful, more integral and more important a person is for society, the more unpretentious he is.
— People often ask artists with pretension why they don't go to the NWO zone. Those performers who were there say that it is not so easy to perform purely from a technical point of view. What can you say?
— Of course, it is. This is not safe, because everyone has their own task, and distracting, relatively speaking, one military man from his post means endangering everyone. It is simply impossible to gather more than 30 people directly in the NWO zone.
It is enough to support them — they feel it at some cellular level.
Star daughter and the famous Kuzya: about Gogunsky's plans
Nostalgia is in fashion today — for old songs, films. There were special editions of «Friends», «Harry Potter», now they are relaunching «Daddy's Daughters» with the same actors. If you are offered to return to the role of Kuzi, would you agree?
— I open the cards. Yes, there is a request, and in June I agreed to play this role again. The script is already being written. I know for sure that Kuzya continues to please people. What can I give to society? Joy. Therefore, in 2022, without hesitation, I agreed, although before that I had refused for ten years.
— What makes my daughter happy?
— She's a star. Although I didn't dream about it as a child, I said: «I don't want to, because the stars are cold and distant.»
You know, I was afraid of being a subjective dad: my child is the best in any case. But Milana hit everyone else on «One to One!» with me on stage, and I realized that the assessment of her talent is objective.
I'm glad that her creative development is happening now. Along with this — and everything related to star disease. A real artist must understand his mission: to give everything to people and God. She rushes forward — this is understandable due to her age, but I think she will understand everything in the future.
— What are your plans for the near future? with dance tracks. And now, together with producer Yuri Bardash, we are preparing two completely different songs for release.
Besides, there are plans to implement a major cultural project: concerts in new regions of Russia. And it's free.
