A Norilsk resident was charged with “discrediting” the army; he was already arrested for the inscription «Fuck the war» on the car

A criminal case was opened against a 28-year-old resident of Norilsk for «discrediting» the actions of the Russian army in Ukraine. This was reported by the departments of the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The case was opened because of the posts and the collage that the Siberian vykrylya in social networks on September 4, 2022 and February 20, 2023 (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). Their content is not given. After his arrest, he was released on his own recognizance.

Last June, a Norilsk resident was stopped by the police when he was on vacation in Volgograd, and a protocol was drawn up against him under an administrative article about “discrediting” because of a sticker on the rear window cars (20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). As a result, the man a day of arrest was appointed.

OVD-Info discovered a court decision in Volgograd, about which was presumably discussed. He was carried out in relation to the forwarding driver Vladislav Nikolaev, on whose VAZ-2101 car there was a sticker in the form of a Pacific sign with the inscription “Fuck the war.”

Then Nikolaev pleaded not guilty and explained to the court that he was protesting against everyone wars in the world. The Norilsk citizen, according to him, had no intention to “discredit” the Russian army. Because of the obscene inscription, the police also drew up a report on him under the article on “petty hooliganism” (20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), but the judge combined both administrative cases into one and ordered only arrest for Nikolaev.
