
BERLIN, June 5 After a series of accusations against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann, the Green Party sent a request to the Munich authorities to ban the rock band from on the eve of the concert in the Bavarian capital, a competition for the selection of girls in the front rows, the Münchner Abendzeitung writes.
«In a request called «Safe Concerts for All», a request was sent to the district administration department to check the possibility of a ban on the so-called» Row Zero «(» Row Zero «- ed.)», — writes the publication, in whose possession the already approved on the Munich City Council document.
«Row Zero» refers to the selection of certain young women to be at the concert right in front of the stage. Starting Wednesday, Rammstein will play four shows at Munich's Olympiastadion, which is owned by the city.
Earlier, the band's Instagram* posted an official statement in which the band members emphasized that it is important for them to have a comfortable and safe pastime for the fans «in front of and behind the stage.» The group condemned any «assault» and urged fans not to harass the girls who made accusations against Lindemann.
Earlier, a girl named Shelby Lynn accused Till Lindemann of putting drugs in her drink before a Rammstein concert in Vilnius. According to the girl, he also offered to have sex with her. Following the incident, a number of women anonymously approached the NDR and Süddeutsche Zeitung radio stations and made serious accusations against the frontman. Women accuse rock band crew of recruiting beautiful female fans to pre- and after-parties.
